The purpose of the role is to maintain and enhance the Operational Resilience Framework throughout Chetwood, in line with SMF24 and Board expectations, as well as ensuring compliance with regulatory obligations.The Operational Resilience and Business Continuity Manager will work with key stakeholders throughout the firm to understand the most critical aspects of the business and develop capabilities to prevent, respond to and recover from severe but plausible disruption scenarios. The successful candidate will coordinate all aspects of the Operational Resilience Framework.Job role Identification of Chetwood’s important business services and associated impact tolerances, agreeing these with senior stakeholders, the SMF24 and Board,Coordination of firm wide business impact assessments to support continuity planning and resource mapping,Maintenance of business service interdependency mapping (people, process, technology, suppliers, data & premises),Coordination of business continuity & disaster recovery planning exercises,Oversight of third-party risk management & due diligence, including involvement in exit planning & testing where required,Monitoring & management of potential impact tolerance breach events, participation in major incident management where required,Management of scenario testing strategy (Production, UAT, paper-based workshops & war games), incorporating business continuity & disaster recovery plans,Implementation of an Operational Resilience training and awareness program,Vulnerability & threat identification, tracking and mitigation,Monitoring and reporting on key resilience and risk indicators,Presentation of management reporting at bank governance forums,Presentation of relevant regulatory engagement updates,Coordination of annual self-assessment & benchmarking exercises,Annual review of Operational Resilience Framework aligning to business strategy,Establishment of effective crisis management procedures,Representation at industry forums and working group.The entire Continuity Central website is scanned daily by Sucuri to ensure that no malware exists within the site.
