We are a team of over 1000 across our offices in London and Winchester.We now have an exciting opportunity for a Partnership Assistant to join our Secretarial team, supporting our Actuarial department, in our London office on a 9 months fixed term contract.What’s the role? You will assist three Partners, initially, and offer additional support to the wider Actuarial team. The role involves delivering a comprehensive secretarial and administrative support service to Partners and fee-earning staff, facilitating the optimisation of their fee-earning activities. A professional approach is required and to be able to respectfully and confidently liaise with client contacts who will likely be leading figures in the pensions industry and large corporations.Whatwillyourkeyresponsibilitiesbe?Assisting Partners and staff in the production of written or visual material (such as letters, reports, tenders, agendas and presentations) to LCP’s quality standards in our house style and using MS Word, PowerPoint, ExcelDiary management and organisation of internal/external meetings using Outlook calendar and internal meeting room booking facilities for partners and the wider departmentPreparing monthly fee notes using internal billing system, along with creating fee letters and updating fee schedules where required. Training will be given. Creating expense claims for Partners and staffArranging internal team training, includes liaising with presenters to find suitable dates, booking rooms and updating our intranet with recordings/slides following the sessionsTeam co-ordinator support for two client teams within the Actuarial departmentGeneral administration such as:holiday bookings, study leave schedulesbooking travel (hotels, trains, flights, taxies etc) and restaurants.helping to organise departmental social events.liaising with other departments as required (IT / Finance / Hospitality / Business Development / Facilities)assisting Partners where required with their Continual Professional Development (CPD)Using / updating LCP’s internal contacts database D365 including the administration for taking on new clientsAd hoc PA support for other PAs when cover is requiredOther ad hoc dutiesWhat skills and qualities are we looking for?Enthusiastic individual with experience in a similar role, must be comfortable working both independently and as part of a teamExcellent oral and written communication skills, with impressive grammar skills for proofreading and writing correspondenceExcellent attention to detailsNumerate – knowledge of very basic accountancy would be helpful but not essentialCompetent across Microsoft Office applications including strong knowledge of Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, and willing to be trained on in-house systems, house style, billing process, D365 and potentially InDesign as need arisesComfortable with multi-tasking at pace and highly skilled in prioritising tasks and organising work effectively to meet deadlines including in the presence of competing priorities and demandWhat’s in it for you?Take a look at our Glassdoor
