This role presents an exciting opportunity for an individual at Finals Standard to Newly Qualified level to contribute their expertise to the firm's success.Key Responsibilities:
Drafting, filing, and prosecuting patent applications in the field of Organic ChemistryConducting patentability assessments and providing strategic advice to clientsManaging patent portfolios and conducting patent portfolio analysisHandling oppositions, appeals, and other contentious mattersProviding technical expertise and support to clients in the consumer products and industrial chemicals sectorsCollaborating with attorneys and clients to develop and implement IP strategies
Requirements:
Qualified or nearing qualification as a Patent AttorneySpecialisation in Organic Chemistry with a strong academic background in the fieldExperience in drafting and prosecuting patent applications in Organic ChemistryKnowledge of patent law and regulations, with a focus on consumer products and industrial chemicalsStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent communication and interpersonal skillsAbility to work independently and collaboratively within a team environmentCommercial awareness and a client-focused approach
