It's a genuinely once-in-a-lifetime opportunity where you will build and design the culture, working environment and structure of the UK entity from the ground up with the clear vision to make it a class above the rest.RequirementsStep into this brand new Planning Manager role for the UK within this exciting start up with huge growth opportunities and drive the business forward in a new market.You will be entrepreneurial and 100% focused on successfully building the business in the UK. You'll be working collaboratively with the head of commercial and the Head of UK for current and future planning of sites, strategy alignment but have the autonomy to bring on new partnerships along the way. As this business grows so will opportunities to build a team around you to support you and the company's goal to become the leading player in the EV charging infrastructure network.If you are used to rolling up your sleeves and not afraid of networking within the B2G space, OOH (Out of Home), working closely with the sales team and building out a strategy for growth and creating a "fan fair", then this could be the role for you. Leading the charge, exploring commercial partnerships and being instrumental in raising further capital investment will be a major part of this role. Ultimately, we're seeking a strategic and commercially focused individual.Responsibilities - but not limited to: · Lead strategies and execution of business development activities and post-sales customer engagement.· Lead and support on commercial and strategic partnership negotiations· Establish and manage multiple planning, bids and tenders· Manage the day-to-day aspects of projects, planning applications.About you:This is a prestigious role you'll have a minimum of 5+ years experience in Planning, sales and commercial expertise within the UK marketplace and a preferred background within energy/utility, infrastructure and/or media industries and OOH (out of home).· You'll possess a solid understanding of business strategy and origination processes.· The ability to operate with a high degree of autonomy and accountability· Strong planning and cross-functional project management skills to deliver results· The ability to multi-task, prioritize and anticipate the needs of internal stakeholders in a fast-paced environment· Previous work experience with international or multinational companies a plus· Ideally holding a Bachelor’s Degree from a reputable institutionIf you want to join a team of enthusiastic and extremely clever people who are driven to move the needle and have a positive and profound impact on the future of electric vehicles globally and here in the UK then this is the business for you!
