Lead the production and development of Chief Actuary’s Reinsurance and Underwriting Opinions, ensuring comprehensive analysis with actionable insights and recommendationsLocation: Remote/Milton KeynesCategory: InsuranceType: PermanentKey duties (including but not limited to):Work closely with the Capital, Underwriting and other teams as required to follow-up on and deliver on those recommendationsLead the production and development of advanced reinsurance analyses to optimise the reinsurance spend considering the risk exposure / level of capitalisation and the reinsurance options availableOversee the regular reporting to reinsurers, ensuring accurate and timely communicationPropose then develop alternative approaches to product / portfolio pricingDevelop exposure management strategies, enhancing risk mitigation across the portfolioFully qualified IFoA actuary with a few years post qualified experienceWorked within a General Insurance company or consultancyProven interactions with stakeholders at a range of levelsVery strong communication, reporting & writing skills
