The Job Role
Procurement Manager to maintain relationships with current suppliers ensuring compliance with all agreements
Manage a small team of 3
Management and development of purchasing systems and processes
Develop and drive continuous improvement in purchasing activities
Lead supplier reviews, tendering and contract negotiations
Developing internal relationships, ensuring purchasing is considered in all relevant business decisions
Seek out opportunities to reduce costs and improve quality
The Requirements
Reporting to the Commercial Director you will be comfortable with delivering projects and purchasing strategies.
You will have the ability to build strong internal and external relationships and influence key stakeholders.
The Procurement Manager will have a structured, methodical and hands-on approach to ensure all contracts are complied with and renewed or retendered at the appropriate time.
Worked in a similar role within food services would be preferable.
