Requirements:

• Previous manufacturing experience.
• FLT experience, full license required
• The ability to follow step by step processes
• A great level of spoken and written English

Responsibilities:

As an Production Operative you will:

• Operating Machinery: This might include mixers, moulders, kilns, and packaging machines. You will learn how to operate them safely and efficiently.
• Monitoring Production Processes: Ensure the smooth running of the production line . This involves keeping an eye on the machinery to detect any malfunctions or issues that may arise during the production process.
• Quality Control: Eensuring that the bricks produced meet quality standards. This includes visually inspecting the bricks for defects, such as cracks or irregularities, and removing any substandard bricks from the production line.
• Material Handling: Handling raw materials used in the brick-making process, such as clay, sand, and water. This includes loading materials into the machinery at the beginning of the production process and transporting finished bricks by operating FLTs.
• Maintenance and Cleaning: Participate in the maintenance and cleaning of machinery and equipment to ensure that they operate efficiently.
• Safety Compliance: Adhering to safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents and injuries. This includes wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) and following safety guidelines while operating machinery.
• Teamwork: Collaborating with other production operatives, supervisors, and maintenance staff to ensure that production targets are met efficiently and safely.
