CNC Recruitment is seeking multiple Production Operators for our prestigious client in Yeovil, a globally recognised, profitable and respected company, specialised in providing high quality engineered photonic solutions for use in harsh environments.



Pay - �12.00 per hour



Working hours - Monday to Friday, day shift, 8.00am to 5.00pm, with 2 breaks.



Responsibilities:



- Produce general electrical and mechanical assemblies to work instructions.



- Follow internal production processes/ work instructions.



- Meet IPC guidelines for (electrical) standards of work, where required (training can be provided)



- Able to Solder, Wire Harness, Optical termination, Crimp (or whatever is applicable to role in production)



- Proficient in a range of mechanical fastening operations to work instructions.



- Carry out Configuration testing using a laptop and software to pre-scribed process instructions.



- Responsible for own husbandry of tools and organisation of workspace.



- A continuous improvement mindset which relentlessly seeks ways to improve the process and product within controlled change methodology.



Requirements:



- Previous experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment preferred



- Mechanical knowledge and ability to use power tools and hand tools effectively



- Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately



- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot assembly issues



- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment
