Working for a well established market leader within their sector, this role is working alongside the Procurement Manager

The hours are 8.40am to 5pm Monday to Friday and finish at 4.10pm on a Friday  with 40 minutes for lunch.

salary of £27 to £28K dependent upon your experience plus benefits

The role can all be office based.  However, the position is offered as 3 days based in the office and 2 days working from home wants you are trained up and doing well!

The role will include:

Accurate preparation and processing of purchase orders for the UK and overseas suppliers on a daily basis

Assisting with the end to end procurement process and liaising with current suppliers to gauge delivery dates, order confirmations and pricing in support of the sales teams

You will work closely with other departments, especially sales to ensure the customers receive their orders in a timely manner

Ensuring the warehouse is aware of inbound shipments

Creating new ppart numbers and bill of materials on the ERP system

Booking internationation freight quotations

Updating the pricing

Sending invoices and pro forma invoices to Accounts

The successful candidate will have:

An excellent background in similar administration and be professional and highly organised

Have keen attention to detail

A want to take ownership of the job role in order to give excellent service to clients, suppliers and other internal departments

Able to multi task in a busy role and keeping calm under pressure

Experience of working with overseas suppliers would be highly beneficial

Excellent working knowledge of MS Office and Dynamics 365 experience is really desirable but not essential.  Experience of working on various ERP systems would be a distinct advantage.

A real team player with excellent communiction skills and confident dealing with people within the various businesses and with third part vendors.
