LondonCompetitive Salary plus BenefitsThe main function of the Receptionist/Admin Support is to prioritise colleague and visitor experience. You will play a vital role in assisting the Workplace Experience team in the provision of high-quality effective colleague experience, including offering any assistance to help the team to provide a welcoming and productive environment.In the provision of your role as Receptionist, we expect you to role model the values and behaviours Be Accountable, Act with Integrity and continually look for ways to Make a Difference.What you'll be doing:General admin duties providing all round support and assistance.Responsible for meeting and greeting all staff and visitors to DCC office including:Diary management for expected visitors.Diary management of meeting room bookings.Processing visitor passes in line with policy and security protocols.Administering access passes in line with the starter, mover, leaver processes & security protocols.Monitoring facilities in box.Answering and directing incoming calls.Assisting with facilities tasks as and when required.Assisting with refreshments & catering requests including liaising directly with suppliers and meeting hosts.Sorting and distributing post and organising couriers.General admin duties providing all round support and assistance.First Aider.Fire Marshal.What we're looking for:Previous experience in a receptionist/ customer facing roleExcellent communication, time management and organisational skills.Ability to prioritise multiple requests, possibly under pressure and with possible interruptions.Ability to accurately complete tasks, assignments, and responsibilities in timely manner.Proactive and uses initiative.Dependable and flexible.Able to work independently as well as part of a team.Responsive to customer requests in an empathic, supportive, and productive manner.Must remain calm, courteous, and polite in all circumstances.Demonstrable ability to understand and improve existing processes and procedures.Must be able to demonstrate good knowledge in the use of Microsoft Office applications Skills and Experiences Desirable.First Aid at Work and Fire Marshal qualification advantageous.About the DCC:At the DCC, we believe in making Britain more connected, so we can all lead smarter, greener lives.
