Sales Manager

A Sales Manager job is available for an Engineering company based near West Malling, Kent (with WTH and Hybrid options). This exciting role is ideal for a Sales Professional with a dynamic and entrepreneurial outlook seeking an opportunity to expand the company’s reach. You will be looking to win contracts for projects ranging from high-specification design, fitting, and installations to establishing service and maintenance contracts.

As a crucial member of the senior team, you will spearhead the company’s entry into new markets and grow existing markets within the engineering expertise. In return, you can expect a competitive salary of up to £60K, a car/allowance, and an attractive bonus package to approximately £90K . Please note that you will be required to be on site for the initial onboarding period. However, flexibility after this period for work from home is possible for applicants. With onsite meetings at both the office and with clients expected.

Your Duties In This Sales Manager Job Will Include

• Identify untapped markets and explore current sectors for the company’s key Engineering Design, Installation, and Maintenance Services.
• Broaden the current scope of the company’s niche markets to uncover new opportunities and clients.
• Formulate and implement effective strategies to enhance sales.
• Develop a robust business development strategy aligned with the capabilities and ambitions of the business.
• Foster strong professional relationships with new and existing clients while extending the market presence in these areas.
• Execute the sales strategy through extensive business development activities, including presentations, visits, demonstrations, cold and warm calling, and leveraging social media effectively.
• Respond promptly to information requests, generate sales quotes, and provide other internal sales support.
• Assist in the pricing negotiation process and communicate anticipated delivery times with clients. Offering feedback throughout the technical, design, and manufacturing stages.

What Experience Is Required For This Sales Manager Job
