They are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Engineer to join their team in the Northwest region to work on some interesting and challenging highways projects.What you'll be doingAs a Senior Engineer you will:Oversee Engineering control and implementation of works on site, including monitoring and reporting of progress.Maintain survey equipment including registers of equipment and testing regimes.Read and determine information from drawings, schedules, and specifications.Produce as-built drawings & records for every element of the works involved in completion of Quality Check Sheets and Handover Documentation in a timely manner in line with programme.Maintaining accurate records - Daily Diary, photographs, records of site discussionsUnderstand Permit to Dig SystemsBe competent in setting out techniques - ability to use level & EDM, plus GPSBe able to clearly communicate the requirements of a safe system of work to ensure that these are followed accurately.What they are looking forAs a Senior Engineer, you will have knowledge of the construction process in one or more of the following areas:Earthworks / DrainagePavementStructuresRoadworksDay in, day out, their teams deliver some of the UK's most ambitious, exciting, and meaningful projects; developing, building, and maintaining the vital infrastructure that supports national economies and strengthens communities.If you are ready to take the next step in your career and join a team of passionate professionals, we would love to hear from you!
