Job DescriptionSenior Environmental Consultant (London, Bristol, Cambridge, or Leeds)My client is a global consultancy seeking a Senior Environmental Consultant to assist with infrastructure, energy, and residential projects across the country. The successful candidate will assist and lead environmental planning projects, providing technical advice across all stages of development, and working alongside multi-disciplinary teams. You will work on environmental and sustainability assessments, assist in managing projects, develop junior staff members, and grow the team’s profile in the wider market.This is a really exciting opportunity to join a highly respected team working on exciting, large-scale developments! Previous projects have included town centre regenerations, offshore wind farms, and a green hydrogen project.Ideal candidates will have:Knowledge of the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) process across all stages of developmentExperience with both Town & Country Planning Act (TCPA) and Development Consent Order (DCO) projectsKnowledge of other related assessments, including health impact assessment, sustainability appraisals, habitats regulations assessment (desirable, but not essential)Project management skills, overseeing delivery timelines and budgetsRelevant degree and membership of a professional body (e.g. IEMA)Benefits:Competitive salary with a discretionary bonus, private healthcare, flexible/hybrid working, and moreProfessional development from senior staff members, who are leaders in their sectors
