Senior Financial Accountant

The Senior Financial Accountantat AllPoints Fibrewillown our Balance Sheet reporting and reconciliations. Reporting in to the Financial Controller the role will play a key part in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our financials, enhance financial reporting and assist with the Company audit.What you will be doingOwnership of the companies balance sheet alongside the FC including reporting and reconciliations.Maintain a strong internal control environment with clear documented accounting policies and processes.Assistance with the year end audit.Ensure on-time financial compliance and tax filings across the business.Work closely with the FC on any technical finance projects or requirements across the company.Management, support and development of one direct report initially with a view to building out a Financial Accounting team as the company grows.About youThe role would suit a driven candidate with a technical accounting background and a desire to be part of an innovative growth journey. We are looking for someone who embraces change and enjoys the challenge of utilising technology and their experience to optimise the finance function. We are a high growth company with strong investor focus, there will be opportunity to work outside of your defined role and across the business on interesting projects and tasks due to the nature of the business.You will have a minimum of 2 years experience working as a financial accountant (or similar role) within industry with strong technical accounting experience with a good knowledge of statutory accounting, holding ACA/ACCA qualifications. Having experience in the Telecoms sector and use of Netsuite are desirable.This is a Hybrid role with two days per week being based in our Reading office.The benefitsAt AllPoints Fibre, we're all about looking after you.
