The firm and role therefore provides excellent career prospects and a clear path to progress on offer.Job DescriptionJoining the firm as Senior Manager / Associate Partner - Agricultural sector specialist based at the firms Taunton offices, you will take responsibility for a rural and agricultural focused portfolio, providing all round accounting services and advice. The role has arisen through a combination of positive growth and planning for the future growth within this specialist sector. The firm is therefore looking to attract career focused professionals, with the demonstrable skills and attitude to progress within the firm. Your career path within the firm will be structured and guided, working alongside highly respected specialists in this sector and you will have the full support and backing to progress in your career. They are seeking the right person who has direct agricultural knowledge, experience and a passion for delivering accounting services and advice in this field.. The role offers a superb opportunity for an accounting professional, looking to progress within this field.The Successful ApplicantThe ideal candidate will be qualified across any of ACA, ACCA and/or CTA, with a career background developed in any of a large, national firm accountancy practice background and/or, a regional independent firm background of any size. You will have either direct, recent and significant expertise in agricultural sector accounting and/or, a clear demonstrable link to the farming/agricultural sector, combined with a background working within the accounting profession and be able to demonstrate a genuine passion and interest in the agricultural sector. You will be at least an experienced Senior Manager with 4 - 5 years or more, post qualified experience, seeking the right long term, career move. You will be able to demonstrate both the technical expertise in this field along with the additional competencies they will be looking for in the right individual, client facing, business development ability and aptitude to progress in the firm. You will be searching for a role where you can develop and act as a lead for colleagues and other offices as an agricultural expert in a leading firm of chartered accountants.What's on Offer£55,000 - £80,000 plus benefits, negotiable, dependent on level, experience and background.
