Consilium Recruit is exclusively partnering a leading manufacturing group to manage their recruitment of two Senior Manufacturing Engineers. Following significant long-term orders and substantial growth plans and are looking for Manufacturing Engineers to join the team. You will be responsible for the delivery of engineering capability to meet customer requirements and candidates are sought with a good understanding of machining processes.







Commutable from: Burnley, Blackburn, Manchester, Bolton, Rochdale, Bolton, Accrington, Bradford, Wigan.
Salary: � 42,000 - � 65,000 p.a. + benefits

The Role
Delivery of technical projects to successfully deliver rate capable solutions to time, cost and quality.



Define production solutions and equipment requirements, including conceptual scheme and detail design of capital equipment.



Support production solutions and equipment requirements, including conceptual scheme and detail design of capital equipment.



Assess the safety and environmental impact of new equipment and processes.



Support the selection and justification of capital equipment.



Active involvement in continuous improvement to systems, processes and methods to promote improved efficiency, reduce waste and cost.



Provide all relevant production documentation to support process operations including the training and development of operations teams in technical and practical methods, systems and processes.



Support and contribute to manufacturing system design and simulation activity ensuring engineering solutions deliver in line with business case.




The Candidate





Degree or HND qualified in mechanical engineering or relevant technical subject.



Ability to visualise novel and complex manufacturing solutions is essential.



In-depth working knowledge of complex components and processes such as multi axis conventional and non-conventional machining.



Working in cross functional value streams, to manage competing priorities



Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently.



Able to manage multiple tasks and projects, prioritise under pressure and be self-motivated.
