We are looking for QUALIFIED and COMMITTED individuals to join a residential service as a Senior Night Support Worker, supporting young people aged 16-25 years old with EBD (Emotional Behavioural Difficulties)
**We can only consider candidates who hold a Level 3 NVQ qualification for Children or Adult Care**
You will support young people in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment, where you can enable them to develop socially, emotionally, and behaviourally in a setting where they feel safe and cared for.
Job Title: Senior Night Support Worker
Salary: £29,688 - £31,053 (Extra £25 each night shift worked - approx £4000 additionally per year on top of salary)
Location: Cranborne, Dorset (BH21 postcode)
Hours: 7:45pm - 8:15am
Rota: 4 on 4 off
Contract: Permanent
**Due to the nature of the role we can only consider candidates for the role who hold a Full UK Manual Driving Licence as you may be required to transport the young people from time to time**

About the Role
- To be responsible for co-ordinating shifts in the absence of, or when delegated by a Night Team Manager
- To co-ordinate shifts, managing and supporting staff ensuring their operation of good working practice.
- To be involved in the direct delivery of services to young people by the aims of the company.
- To assist the management team in providing the highest possible standards of care guidance, support and protection for the young people and cooperate fully with colleagues.
- Take responsibility for team meetings
- Ensure all young people are being provided with a high standard of care and all their needs are met
- Record keeping and administration as required to include supporting auditing and maintenance of children's files.
- To be constantly vigilant on health and safety matters and to share concerns of the same immediately with line management.
- To complete regular supervisions and and performance reviews
Requirements of a Senior Night Support Worker:
- Level 3 NVQ qualification in Children or Adults or equivalent ESSENTIAL
- Experience working in support role, and have relevant knowledge of and experience within special needs environment DESIRABLE
- Basic First Aid training DESIRABLE
- Experience supporting people with complex need and challenging behaviours DESIRABLE
- Understanding of Safeguarding and DOLs procedures DESIRABLE
- Full UK manual driver's licence and access to a vehicle is essential as you may be required to transport young people from time to time ESSENTIAL
- Minimum age of 21 due to the needs of the Young People ESSENTIAL
