Main Duties:

As a Senior Property Accountant, your main duties include:

• Managing a self-reliant team of four


• Working closely with property accountants with guidance on leases.


• Review monthly balance sheet reconciliations for rent, including assessing ageing analysis, addressing any discrepancies, and investigating areas requiring further examination


• Record property costs and oversee controls and processes


• Review our property cash flow every week


• Work closely with the Financial Reporting Accountant to ensure accurate financial reporting


• Assist in reconciling client statements


• Ensure all landlord/managing agent and franchisor commitments are calculated and verified in accordance with the terms of the agreement.


• Coordinate with the legal team on property contracts.


• Attend client meetings


• Support audits

Location / Office / Culture

The role is flexible with 3 days in the welcoming office space, and the rest at home

What We Are Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

• Motivated with their studies


• Previous transactional finance experience


• Strong attention to detail


• Skilled user of Microsoft packages, encompassing Outlook, Word, and advanced Excel skills
