Location: LondonReports to the Head of RewardReporting to the Head of Reward, this role has two primary focus areas. First is the creation and implementation of job architecture across the business, ensuring our compensation programs are competitive, fair and aligned with organisational goals. The second will be on the implementation of Workday and the foundational reward elements that are required. This work will form the foundation for the infrastructure of talent management and financial practices that drive the business, including total reward, career paths, workforce planning, learning and development and succession plans through the HRIS.Key responsibilities:Create and implement a global job architecture and career framework in partnership with our internal People Team ensuring integration with all Aztec Talent processes.Propose job profile taxonomy to support department structure and needs.Leverage market knowledge to tie Aztec’s jobs to the external market to ensure job architecture is competitive, fair and equitable.Assess jobs and duties to determine classification against the job architecture and careers framework.Provide data driven insights and analysis to inform decision making on job architecture and career framework infrastructure.Create job descriptions for each position in the organization, in partnership with the business and Talent functions, ensuring descriptions accurately reflect the work being performed, including organisational and occupational duties. Mapping existing compensation processes within the organisation to Workday’s Advanced Compensation module. This involves understanding the compensation structure, policies, approval workflows, to be able to integrate them into the system effectively.Assist in the configuration of the Advanced Compensation module in Workday to meet the specific compensation requirements. This includes setting up compensation plans, eligibility rules, compensation elements, compensation packages, and other related configurations.Provide expertise and leadership in the migration of relevant compensation data from legacy systems or spreadsheets into Workday. This will include data cleansing, transformation and validations activities, to ensure accuracy and completeness in the new system.Ownership for the testing of job architecture and compensation cycles in Workday’s Advanced Compensation module, to identify and resolve configuration errors, data inconsistencies and functionality gaps, in partnership with Aztec’s system integration partner.Provide training and support to end-users, HR Administrators and other stakeholders on how to use the Advanced Compensation module effectively. This may involve developing training materials, conducting workshops, and offering ongoing support post-implementation.Skills and experience:Experience of creating and implementing a job architecture and careers frameworks in multi-national growth organisations of 1500+ employees is a must.Knowledge in the banking/financial sector is preferred.Experience in Workday Advanced Comp module is essential.Proven experience and knowledge of integrating Workday Advanced Compensation with other modules within the Workday ecosystem, such as Core HR, Payroll, and Talent Management is required to ensure seamless data flow and process automation across different HR functions.Understanding of Compensation philosophy and market trends is needed, ideally in financial services and with some knowledge in our current jurisdictions. APAC knowledge is also desirable.Proven project management ability is a requirement with any formal project management qualification being an asset.Evidence of strong stakeholder management abilities up to board level.Ability to relay complex issues in written and verbal communications to a diverse audience is essential.Proven experience in compensation analysis.Robust experience of working with survey providers (WTW, Maclagan).Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and Excel is expected.Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in managing data.Experience of delivering user training is required with the creation of training materials being desirable.An agile and change orientated individual with experience in growth organisations is advantageous.The ideal candidate will be self motivated and delivery focused.Must be flexible to commute to the Southampton office for meetings as and when required.We will provide the training, both in house for relevant technical knowledge and also professional qualifications to enhance your professional development. You will need to be quick to learn new systems and great with people, as close working relationships between our colleagues and clients is at the heart of what we do.
