Role: Senior Site Engineer

Location: Preston

Pay: �(Apply online only)/day

Duration: 6 months

Our industry leading tier-1 client is looking for a Senior Site Engineers from an environmental/ earthworks�background to work on their local authority framework. They cover projects including but not limited to flood defence schemes, rail, highways and public realms works

Duties for Senior Site Engineer:

• Work across multiple projects or one large scheme on the delivery of environmental and non-infra works


• Reporting into the Site Agent


• Management of specialist subcontractors


• Ensure that senior management teams are kept up to date with progress


• Writing and reviewing RAMS


• Assist in ensuring a quality service is provided to the client


• Being involved in technical planning and programming the projects


• Ensure the project is running on time and budget


• Ensure health & safety is adhered to


• Be responsible for site inspections and progress reports


• Some aspects of setting out may be required

Qualifications and experience:

• IOSH, SSSTS or NEBOSH general certificate would be an advantage


• Microsoft Office literate


• Experience working in the environmental or earthworks industry is essential


• CSCS Card


• Appropriate hnc, degree or engineering qualification
