Senior Software Developer (Fullstack)

Hybrid working 3 days per week in our office in Hammersmith, with free breakfast daily and gym membership

A Senior Fullstack Dev at GetGround works on projects such as financial infrastructure, robust systems for high value transactions and company management. We primarily use Golang and React (don't worry, if you don't know either we'll help you ramp up), deployed on Google Cloud. We care about thoughtful, tested, documented code that delivers excellence to our customers.

What you will do in the role:
Working with Golang, React, Redux and TypeScript, you'll build large-scale technology that will change the world for the better!
Frontend - own the user-facing web frontend codebase of the application, currently built in React with Redux.Own the internal web frontend application
Collaborate with other developers to integrate user-facing elements with server side logic
As part of a cross functional, collaborative team, you will participate in the entire application lifecycle, from architecting to development, testing and review
Build reusable code and libraries for future use
The experience you will have:
Professional experience as a Fullstack engineer in a fast-paced startup/scaleup
React.js expertise (you don't need Golang knowledge on the backend, this can be taught)
Design and architecture practices, including in the context of large-scale web applications
You have a deep understanding of usability issues in web applications
You've mentored junior engineers
