The Successful
Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Mechanical Engineer will provide electrical and mechanical repair, service and maintenance on vacuum pumps, blowers, compressors and systems at customer sites.
The
Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Mechanical Engineer will ideally have a field Service background in electrical and / or mechanical engineering, such as, vacuum, vacuum pumps, filtration, pneumatics, hydraulics, valves, rotating equipment, pumps, compressors, or similar. Full product training provided.

Service Engineer / Field Service Technician / Mechanical Engineer Role- To provide electrical and mechanical repair, service and maintenance of vacuum pumps, blowers and compressors at customer sites near Leicester, Derby, Nottingham
- The Service Engineer will undertake planned and preventative maintenance, provide advice, diagnostics, fault finding of vacuum systems, pumps, compressors, blowers, vacuum chambers, and other vacuum related products and systems.
- Installing vacuum systems into all forms of the manufacturing industry.
- Perform emergency breakdown fault finding and repairs on various vacuum equipment.
- Liaise with various engineering departments.

ervice Engineer / Field Service Technician / Mechanical Engineer Requirements- Proven diagnostic skills on complicated electrical/mechanical engineering systems.
- Experience as a Field Service Engineer / Service Engineer / Service Technician / Installation Engineer / Compressor Engineer / Pump Engineer / Valve Technician / Electromechanical Engineer / Mechanical Engineer / M&E Engineer or similar.
- The ability in maintaining good professional working relationships with existing and new customers.
- Good working knowledge of three phase electrics and controls is advantageous.
- Field servicing background in compressors, filtration, pneumatics, hydraulics, nitrogen generators, pipework, vacuum pumps, vacuum systems, valves, pumps. motors, rotating equipment, capital equipment is advantageous. Full product training provided.
- A technical mechanical / electrical / electronic / instrumentation qualification, apprentice trained, HNC, HND or Degree would be advantageous.
- Willing to travel to customer sites to perform service, maintenance, and repair.
