Service Engineer / Hydraulic Engineer / Field Service Technician required to join a leading Hydraulics supplier.
The Successful Service Engineer / Hydraulic Engineer / Field Service Technician will provide electrical and mechanical repair, service and maintenance on hydraulics such as, pumps, cylinders, rams, hoses, hydraulic power units, accumulators, and more.
The Service Engineer / Hydraulic Engineer / Field Service Technician will ideally have a field Service background in hydraulic / mechanical engineering, such as, hydraulics, pneumatics, pumps, compressors, valves, rotating equipment, cylinders, hoses, power units, rotating equipment, or similar. Full product training provided.

Service Engineer / Hydraulic Engineer / Field Service Engineer Role
  • Will provide electrical and mechanical repair, service and maintenance on hydraulics such as, pumps, cylinders, rams, hoses, hydraulic power units, accumulators, and more at customer sites.
  • Installing hydraulics and hydraulic systems into all forms of the manufacturing industry, including aerospace, automotive, defence, industrial, marine, and more.
  • Perform emergency breakdown fault finding and repairs on various hydraulic equipment.
  • Liaise with various engineering departments.

Service Engineer / Hydraulic Engineer / Field Service Engineer Requirements
  • Experience as a Field Service Engineer / Hydraulic Engineer / Service Engineer / Service Technician / Installation Engineer / Compressor Engineer / Pump Engineer / Valve Technician / Electromechanical Engineer / Mechanical Engineer / M&E Engineer or similar.
  • Proven diagnostic skills on complicated hydraulic systems and equipment, such as pumps, motors, cylinders, rams, hoses, pipework, and more
  • Good working knowledge of three phase electrics and controls is advantageous.
  • A technical mechanical / electrical / electronic / instrumentation qualification, apprentice trained, HNC, HND or Degree would be advantageous.
  • Willing to travel to customer sites to perform service, maintenance, and repair.
