Summary:
Embark on an exciting journey with our dynamic team as a Site Reliability Engineer, where you'll be pivotal in developing sophisticated software systems and crafting innovative automated solutions for operational excellence within our organisation. As an SRE, your core responsibilities will involve vigilant monitoring of our computer systems and the creation of comprehensive alert systems to proactively address a spectrum of operational challenges. Your expertise will be vital in collaborating with our IT department to safeguard the continuity and reliability of our product and service offerings through our robust computer system infrastructure.
Responsibilities & Experience:
Google Cloud Platform Management: Design, implement, and manage GCP infrastructure. Ensure efficient and secure setup of network architecture, storage, and compute resources.
Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop and maintain infrastructure using Terraform. Automate cloud resource provisioning and configuration.
Continuous Deployment & Operations: Implement and manage continuous deployment pipelines using ArgoCD. Integrate and manage Kubernetes clusters for container orchestration. Monitor system performance, respond to incidents, and conduct root cause analysis.
Collaboration and Version Control: Utilise GitLab for source code management and CI/CD pipelines. Collaborate with development teams using GitLab Rails for efficient application development and deployment.
Performance Optimization & Cost Management: Optimize cloud resources for performance efficiency. Implement cost-saving strategies without compromising on performance.
Documentation & Best Practices: Document system configurations, procedures, and best practices. Stay updated with the latest trends and updates in cloud computing and SRE practices.
