Shift Model: Mon-Fri Flexible Between Hours of 8am and 6pm.An exciting opportunity to join TSO’s subscriptions sales team in Norwich!TSO is a UK based content publisher, delivering high quality publishing solutions, across multiple formats on behalf of clients to end customers in the UK and globally. The Subscription Sales Executive will be responsible for helping to manage and grow the web-based Health and Safety Executive (HSE) Software Tools channel of over £900k. The HSE Software Tools include the Stress Indicator Tool, Safety Climate Tool and Musculoskeletal (MSD) Online Assessment Tool at present but will expand further with new tools in 2024. They will work with a large range of diverse customers. These will include organisations from corporate, government and academic sectors both in the UK and globally. When needed, they will also support the wider HSE portfolio, including reseller account management and taking orders of physical items such as the HSE Law Posters. As well as working on the HSE account they will also sell a range of other online corporate subscriptions including the British Pharmacopoeia, a new Cybersecurity assessment tool and Driver and Vehicle Standards Agency eLearning.The successful candidate will need to be self-driven and proactive, to drive sales growth in the channel. They will do this by analysing data and identifying similar organisations to approach. They will need to be technically capable, supporting customers with the administration of their accounts and resolving issues.They will work closely with the Client Services Directors and the wider account teams, to ensure that the clients and our customers always gets the best possible service from TSO.Role Responsibilities· Understand our clients objectives and values, support them to achieve these and work in a manner that represents our clients values.· To develop a full understanding of the current subscription tools and products and their customer base, to assess strengths and weaknesses.· Achieve sales targets across the different clients tools and products.· Help to build our TSO enterprise subscription offerings.· To manage each subscriber to ensure timely renewals and cross sell other subscriptions.· Maintain regular contact with current subscribers to provide ongoing support and guidance on their journey.· To process customer orders, complete documents, and chase payments.· To attend the appropriate conferences and events to meet existing and potential new end-user customers.· Contribute to the development of sales and marketing plans.· To work through generated leads and convert these to sales opportunities.· To work closely with the Subscription Sales Manager, Marketing Managers and Client Account Directors to identify a monthly sales focus, support marketing activity and improve work processes and meet goals set with the client.Person SpecificationHave excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Building long term customer relationships – through building trust, and understanding their customer needsAbility to sell products, platforms and content to achieve revenue targetsGain a good understanding of TSO corporate goals and vision.Have moderate knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word & Excel).Demonstrate an understanding of sale documents and processes.Prior experience using CRM software for logging sales activity and feedbackPersonal AttributesBe highly motivated and goal orientated.Strong attention to detailBe well organised.Capable of succeeding in a challenging and competitive environment.Be comfortable working in a team and be prepared to get involved in all aspects of the sales process.Flexible within business hours.Be confident working with technical services.Experience and QualificationsHave at least 1 year of sales experience within a publishing or digital service environment.Have experience in selling publications or digital services internationally.REWARDS & BENEFITSWe believe in supporting our employees in both their professional and personal lives.
