If you have experience in the following areas, please submit your resume for immediate review.Experience with international and franchise distributionExperience with indirect tax workflows (such as sales tax, value added tax, property tax and business licenses) including, processing, analysis, reporting, compliance, and tax planning.Completion of monthly sales tax returns and value added tax including assuring compliance with sales and valued added tax laws and regulationsSales tax audits / value added tax auditsEnsure tax procedures adhere to state and local tax regulations for all state and local indirect taxesLead tax planning initiatives to stay compliant with current and any new legislation surrounding tax practices in area of responsibilityManage Sarbanes-Oxley internal controls for area of responsibilityResearch and implement any legislative changes that may affect the indirect tax functionManage the tax planning and development of special projects with regards to indirect taxesProvide support to assist with the preparation of the state income tax provisions and state income tax returnsEducation and Experience:Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field; CPA required; advanced degree preferred7+ years in general corporate income tax and accounting environmentExperience with external tax research technology portals and accounting systemsSkillsKnowledge of (one or more) Vertex, Point of Sale systems, SAP, One Source, Corp Tax, AvalaraProficient in Microsoft Office, expert in Excel with modeling and efficient spreadsheet usageSalary $150,000K to $180,000KManpowerGroup is committed to providing equal employment opportunities in a professional, high quality work environment.
