Technical Sales Adviser

Location: Office based, Cambridgeshire, some national and international travel.Viridian Solar is a leader in the design, manufacture and supply of roof integrated solar panels. A significant growth in demand for our products has created a requirement for someone to join our sales team, helping our customers to achieve higher levels of energy efficiency in their new build and refurbishment projects.Responsibilities include advising customers by telephone, specifying solar PV systems and producing quotations and technical drawings. You will be outgoing, numerate and technically minded, with a good telephone manner. The ability to interpret technical drawings is crucial. Prior knowledge of renewable energy is not required, as training will be provided.Due to our international expansion, we are particularly interested to hear from candidates with Dutch, French, Italian or German language skills.ResponsibilitiesAdvising customers by telephone / emailClarifying customer requirementsAssessment of project drawings and specificationsPreparing and marking up AutoCAD schematic drawingsDesigning PV systemsPreparing quotations and technical communicationsClosing the sale and liaising with the post-sales teamWorking within customer / project databaseOccasionally representing Viridian Solar at design meetingsAttributesNumerate and good with Excel spreadsheetsOrganised, accurate, with a good attention to detailTechnically competent, AutoCAD experience would be an advantagePresentableApproachable, sociable and a reliable team playerFluent Dutch, French or German speaker would be an advantageAdaptableSelf-starting, showing initiative to close profitable opportunitiesPlease send your CV with salary expectations to:
