The ideal candidate will have experience writing technical documents for software applications and will be able to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and concisely. You will be responsible for ensuring that all documentation is accurate, up-to-date, and easy to understand.Key Responsibilities:• Collaborate with software development teams to develop technical documentation for our products, including user manuals, help files, release notes, and technical specifications.• Write and edit technical documents, ensuring that all information is accurate, complete, and easy to understand.• Develop and maintain a library of technical documents and templates.• Conduct research to gather information necessary for creating technical documents.• Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product management, quality assurance, and customer support, to ensure that all documentation is aligned with product specifications and customer needs.• Participate in design reviews to provide feedback on software usability and documentation.Job Requirements:• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Technical Communication, or a related field.• Several years of experience in technical writing, with a focus on software documentation.• Experience working with cross-functional teams, including software development, product management, and customer support.• Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.• Experience with technical writing tools, such as Adobe FrameMaker, RoboHelp, and MadCap Flare.• Familiarity with software development methodologies, such as Agile and Waterfall.• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.• Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.• Ability to learn quickly and adapt to changing requirements.Benefits And Other Perks• Annual bonus plan• Competitive medical, dental, vision, STD, LTD, Life and AD&D insurance• PTO and paid holidays• Pension match• Commitment to further education• EAP• Free drinks and snacks• Team-building eventsSapio Sciences is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
