Midlands based regional bank, small yet fast growing, who pride itself as a socially conscious bank, with a double bottom line strategy to make profit purposively, have an opportunity in their Treasury team to lead a small team to manage the banks’ Capital, Liquidity and Funding requirements. Offering flexibility with the split between home/office work hours.Role DescriptionReporting to the CFO, and being a certified role, you will be responsible for overseeing the capital, liquidity, market risk and ALM operations of the bank. Additionally, you will support the CFO in developing the bank’s financial and operational strategy, reviewing metrics tied to that strategy and generating financial risk and regulatory reports. The You will be a member of ALCO and the Senior Management team.Role RequirementsTo be very comfortable working in a small team and be versatile on the work performedIdeally a qualification in Treasury (CertBALM or ACT) or AccountancyDemonstrable understanding regulatory requirements (ICAAP; ILAAP, RRP) of how a bank funds its balance sheetUnderstanding of stress testing and scenario analysesThe management of, or implementation of controls around balance sheet management activitiesThe experience of working with stakeholders, the commercial bank teams; influencing, and being a valuable ALCO member
