Unit Cadet Lead

Volunteering is a fantastic way to enhance your CV, meet new people, and learn lifesaving skills.No one should die because they needed first aid and didn’t get it. St John Ambulance (SJA) teaches people first aid so they can be the difference between life and death, and you can help us do this.As a youth leader you will deliver development opportunities on behalf of SJA through one of our programmes for young people (Badgers, Cadets, Peer Education, Youth First Aid or RISE). This will involve supporting young people alongside other youth leaders, youth support leaders and others. You will also take on responsibility for leading your youth section (either Cadets or Badgers) under a Unit Manager's direction.* The successful applicant will be required to attend the unit management team meeting and regular catch up meetings / teams calls to support settling into the role, this will be discussed more at interview if required.* Interviews will be held with the Unit Manger, a Youth Team rep and a Youth Volunteer Rep with a competency based interview.* Induction will be planned folllowing successful interview with the candidate for a person centred induction into role.The closing date for this vacancy is Thursday 30th November 2023.For more information please contact #####
