1:1 Year 3 Teaching Assistant

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate 1:1 Teaching Assistant to join a welcoming primary school in Liverpool on a full-time, long-term basis. This role involves providing tailored support to a Year 3 child with attachment and trauma needs.

Key Details:

• Start Date: ASAP
• Working Hours: 8:30 am - 3:30 pm, Monday to Friday
• Location: Fazakerley

The Role:
As a 1:1 Teaching Assistant, you will:

• Build a trusting and supportive relationship with the child.
• Provide emotional and academic support to help the child engage positively in school life.
• Implement strategies to manage attachment and trauma-related behaviors.
• Collaborate with class teachers and the SENCO to ensure consistent support.
• Promote a calm, nurturing learning environment.

The Ideal Candidate:
We are looking for someone who:

• Has experience working with children with attachment and trauma needs.
• Is patient, empathetic, and understanding.
• Can work effectively as part of a team and communicate well with staff and parents.
• Is proactive, resourceful, and committed to making a difference.
• Holds a relevant Level 2 or Level 3 qualification (or equivalent experience).
