Our work spans developing new build solutions with OEMs to providing full aftermarket support, including spare parts, repairs, and overhaul services.
As an Application Engineer, you will:
\nCollaborate with Customers and OEMs to understand their needs and develop tailored solutions.
\nSupport joint development projects, offering technical advice, troubleshooting, and quality assurance.
\nPlan and execute electric drivetrain projects, conducting feasibility studies and analyzing vehicle data.
\nTest and commission prototype and new vehicles.
\nEnsure products meet industry standards and regulations, providing consistent customer service.
\nAssist with preparing technical documentation, including user manuals and specifications.
\nParticipate in technical service meetings, both on-site and online.
\nAct as the first point of contact for customer queries and complaints.
\nContribute to internal planning and training initiatives to support future projects.
\nWe're seeking adaptable, forward-thinking professionals with:
\nEducation: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering.
\nExperience: Background in field services or the automotive industry, with expertise in commercial automotive systems.
\nTechnical Skills:
\nKnowledge of electric drivetrains and electrical engineering.
\nProficiency in Matlab/Simulink/Stateflow and C/C++ programming.
\nExperience using tools such as Vector CANalyzer and the Vector Toolchain.
\nSoft Skills: Exceptional problem-solving, communication, and project management abilities.
\nA proactive mindset and ability to thrive in challenging environments.
\nSalary: £50,000 - £60,000 (depending on experience) + annual bonus.
\nWork Schedule: 36.5 hours/week (Monday - Friday, with an early Friday finish).
