About the role of Assistant Quantity Surveyor:

As Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will be joining a specialist property developer in the restoration and conversion of historic and listed buildings into unique homes. With over 60 years of experience, they now have a turnover of nearly �100m with their workforce continuing to grow. Plus, they have become one of England's fastest growing private companies. The project is close to Colchester, sitting on the Essex/Suffolk border, consisting of a collection of 1-5 bedroom houses. This role is site-based.

Key Responsibilities of Assistant Quantity Surveyor:

• Assisting the Senior Quantity Surveyor with project budgets and cost estimations
• Support the preparation of tender documents and contractors bids
• Compile regular reports on the financial status of the project including cost analysis and forecasts

Key Requirements of Assistant Quantity Surveyor:

• Live within commutable distance to Colchester
• Degree educated in Quantity Surveying/Construction Management
• Minimum 2 years of experience as an Assistant Quantity Surveyor at a Developer
