Rate: �55.00 per hour (Umbrella)
Type: Hybrid working, includes site inspections within the borough
Transport: Own transport required
About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Senior Building Control Surveyor to join a North London Local Authority team. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of projects with flexible hours and the option for hybrid working arrangements. The successful candidate will be responsible for plan checking, site inspections, and ensuring compliance with Building Regulations and associated legislation.
Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive plan checking and site inspections.
• Ensure all projects comply with current Building Regulations and associated legislation.
• Provide expert advice and guidance to clients on building control matters.
• Maintain accurate records of inspections and findings.
• Deliver customer-focused, cost-effective, and entrepreneurial building control services.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of Building Control experience.
• Extensive experience as a Building Control Surveyor in either the public or private sector.
• Achieved or working towards BSR registration (Class 2).
• In-depth knowledge of Building Regulations and associated legislation.
• Proven ability to deliver high-quality, customer-focused services.
• Own transport is essential.
