Salary: £55,000- £60,000.
Location: Manchester.
Overview:
First Military Recruitment are currently seeking a Chartered Building Surveyor on behalf of one of our clients.
Our client encourages applications from ex-military personnel however all candidates will be given due consideration.
Duties and Responsibilities:

• Lead & develop detailed briefs in conjunction with the Client and senior colleagues.
• Establish & maintain client relationships.
• Support business development activities by senior colleagues.
• Carry out site surveys, including measured surveys, condition surveys, and defect analysis.
• Produce designs and specifications, including preparation of tender documentation.
• Administer building contracts (JCT and NEC).
• Undertake all aspects of professional surveying work, including condition surveys, specific defect analysis, party wall consultancy, dilapidations, insurance inspections, claims advice, and Reinstatement Cost Assessment valuations.
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and other consultants (internal and external).
• Assist the team leader with project finances, recruitment, mentoring, and team leadership.

Skills and qualifications:

• Relevant degree qualified – RICS approved.
• MRICS Chartered.
• Experience advising on commercial, healthcare, or educational properties in the public or private sector.
• Good AutoCAD and/or REVIT skills.
• Competent with NBS Chorus.
• Full UK Driving Licence.

Salary: £55,000- £60,000.
