The Civils & Infrastructure Team at Ford and Stanley Group
are proud to be working in partnership with a leading Civil Engineering Specialist in the London Area.

The Role

Our client is seeking experienced Civil Engineering Professionals, to work in their Infrastructure Engineering team, across a variety of sectors, including Rail, Highways and Maritime.
These projects could include Station Developments, AFA Schemes, Bridge Design/Strengthening/Repairs, Retaining Walls, Canopies/Roof works, and New build (Residential and Commercial).

There will be a blend of both planned, and reactive/urgent works, the majority of the current work bank being within the Rail Sector, so rail sector experience is a must.

These roles will require a solid blend of both managerial experiences, and technical know-how. We are looking for candidates that are able to manage and develop key client relationships and manage their own workload, operating with a high degree of autonomy.

The Opportunity

Our client is a multi-disciplinary consultancy, specialising in Technical, Design, Asset Management, and Engineering Services, across several separate business units. 
Due to continued growth, they are seeking experienced Civil Engineering Professionals, to work in their Infrastructure Engineering team, across a variety of sectors, including Rail, Highways and Maritime.
The projects you will be working on will be varied, and could include Station Developments, AFA Schemes, Bridge Design/Strengthening/Repairs, Retaining Walls, Canopies/Roof works, and New build (Residential and Commercial).

There will be a blend of both planned, and reactive/urgent works, the majority of the current work bank being within the Rail Sector, so rail sector experience is a must.

Salary/Benefits:
Civil Engineer: £37,000 - £45,000 per annum
Senior: £50,000 - £60,000 per annum

Principal: £60,000 - £70,000 per annum

Requirements:


  • Extensive experience in a relevant, Structural/Civil Engineering role. (Essential)
  • Previous rail sector experience. (Essential)
  • Previous experience operating as a CRE. (Desirable)
  • Chartered status, or near to. (Essential for Senior to Principal level applications)
  • Prior line management experience. (Essential for Senior to Principal level applications)
  • A good level of commercial awareness, e.g., profit & loss, budgeting, contract management. (Essential for Senior to Principal level applications)
  • Previous experience operating within a consultancy environment.(Desirable)
