CNC Machinist (Mill / Turn)

CNC Machinists (Mazak/Heidenhain) - Night Shift

We are currently seeking skilled CNC Machinists to join on a night shift basis. This is an excellent opportunity for experienced professionals looking to work in a dynamic and precision-driven environment.

Position Details:

• 
  Pay Rate: Up to �28 per hour (Inside IR35)
• 
  Shift: Night Shift (10:00 PM - 6:30 AM, Monday to Friday)
• 
  Location: Witney, Oxfordshire

Key Responsibilities:

• 
  Set and operate Mazak CNC Mills/Lathes or Mill/Turn (Integrex) machining centres using Mazatrol control systems.
• 
  Read and interpret engineering drawings to ensure precision manufacturing.
• 
  Produce both batch work and one-off components to high-quality standards.
• 
  Maintain adherence to AS9100 and ISO9001 quality management systems.
• 
  Work with a variety of materials while ensuring efficiency and accuracy.
• 
  Contribute as a proactive team player with a problem-solving mindset.

Essential Skills & Experience:

• 
  Proven experience in setting and operating CNC machines.
• 
  Apprentice trained or time-served in a machining environment.
• 
  Strong understanding of engineering drawings and machining processes.
• 
  Experience working in AS9100 and ISO9001-certified environments.
• 
  Ability to work flexibly and adapt to different machining challenges.

Desirable Skills:

• 
  Mazatrol programming experience.
• 
  Experience with Mill/Turn or 5-axis machining.
• 
  Ability to read or program using ISO (G-code).
