Our client is a well-established UK law firm, based in London, is now looking for a paralegal to assist its Court of Protection team, based in London Bridge.�





Role:



The role involves providing administrative and legal services for clients in their homes, at hospitals and care homes, and providing friendly day-to-day contact with clients suitable for their particular requirements. You will support a team of Partner, solicitors and other paralegals. You will liaise in a professional manner (in writing and on the telephone) with clients, other solicitors and third parties. You will draft documents including witness statements, court applications and letters, and under supervision, provide legal advice to clients. You will make payments to clients and keep accurate schedules of these payments and should be comfortable creating budgets and forecasting forward spending.�





Required knowledge & skills:



The successful candidate will already have completed the LPC or SQE1 and had some experience of working in Court of Protection matters. The ideal candidate will be proactive, able to work to tight deadlines, have excellent organisational skills and be able to prioritise tasks. The ideal candidate will have good experience of Word and Excel and of drafting correspondence. You will have excellent interpersonal skills and superlative communication skills (both written and spoken). You will have excellent client care abilities and have a 'can do' attitude. You should be comfortable working with figures.��





Summary:



This is a great starting role for someone who has completed their LPC/SQE1 and has already gained some Court of Protection experience.�
