Hunter AHP are currently recruiting a skilled and motivated Locum Dispensary Pharmacist to join an NHS hospital in Kent. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a supportive and dynamic pharmacy team on a locum basis, with competitive pay and flexible working options.

Location: NHS Hospital, Kent
Hourly Rate: £24 to £28 per hour
Start Date: Immediate, ongoing contract

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage the dispensary operations within the hospital pharmacy.
• Accurately dispense prescriptions, ensuring compliance with NHS standards.
• Provide medication counselling and advice to patients as needed.
• Work closely with pharmacy and healthcare teams to ensure safe and efficient medication distribution.
• Ensure the safe storage and handling of pharmaceutical products.
• Support with stock management, including ordering and inventory control.

Requirements:

• GPhC registration as a Pharmacist.
• Previous experience in a dispensary role, preferably in an NHS setting.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to high-quality patient care.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Excellent communication and organisational skills.
