ENP Somerset

Working in�Minor Injury Unit's across Somerset, see, treat & discharge minor injuries without always needing to refer patients to a doctor. Practitioners�are responsible for a variety of tasks, including:�

• Assessing patients, including pain assessment and management�


• Diagnosing problems such as sprains, strains, cuts, and bites�


• Giving medication, either orally or via injection�


• Treating minor injuries, including burns and wounds�


• Reading and assessing X-rays�


• Administering some medications, including antibiotics�


• Providing wound closures, plastering, and dressings�

Practitioners�are expected to work autonomously, but they also need to be able to work well within a team.�They should have excellent written and verbal skills, and be able to organize and prioritize their own workload and the workload of others.�

Must have:

• Minor Injury experiance


• Indepdantly prescribe


• IRMER certificate

Shift patterns available are:

Early - 08:00-16:00

Middle - 10:00-18:00

Late - 13:00-21:00

Longday - 08:00-21:00

Very competative hourly rates avaialble and block bookings also.
