Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) - Primary School in Stockport

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join a vibrant Primary School in Stockport. The successful candidate will be working across the school, supporting teachers and students in various subjects and year groups. This full-time role requires a proactive, compassionate individual with strong classroom management skills and the ability to inspire young learners.

• Position: Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)
• Location: Stockport
• Start Date: ASAP
• Contract: Full-time, long-term
• Key Responsibilities:
  • Support class teachers in delivering engaging lessons across various subjects
  • Lead small group sessions and interventions
  • Assist with planning and preparing learning materials
  • Provide feedback on pupil progress to teachers and staff

Requirements:

• HLTA qualification or equivalent experience
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Previous experience in a similar role is desirable
