A global leader in engineering and design consultancy, renowned for delivering complex projects that shape the built environment are looking for several HVAC Engineers. Their work will have you working with designers across the UK and internationally on projects that range from small net zero carbon housing developments to projects of significant and national scale.

Key Accountabilities - HVAC Engineer

+ Design, develop, and implement HVAC systems for commercial, residential, and industrial buildings.

+ Perform detailed calculations to establish standards and specifications for heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.

+ Conduct energy modelling and simulations to optimize system performance and efficiency.

+ Prepare and review technical drawings, specifications, and documentation for HVAC projects.

+ Oversee the installation, commissioning, and troubleshooting of HVAC systems on project sites.

+ Ensure compliance with relevant codes, standards, and regulations.

+ Finding solutions and options for digital transformation and the industry net zero carbon challenge.

Skills and knowledge required - HVAC Engineer

+ Degree qualified, or equivalent qualification, in Building Services Engineering / Mechanical Engineering or related subjects.

+ Chartered Engineer (or working towards) with CIBSE or IMechE.

+ Good level of computer literacy in a range of digital tools including IES thermal modelling package, Revit, NBS and Microsoft packages.

+ Competent in designing for measurement and verification, including experience of commissioning and post installation evaluation of performance.

+ Experience of working in a design consultancy and/or experience of working within a contractor design environment is essential.
