My client is seeking a passionate and innovative Junior Electrical BESS Engineer to support the design and development of advanced energy storage projects. You'll contribute to the engineering, design, and technical delivery of BESS projects, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams to ensure excellence at every stage. With over 5GW of projects delivered globally, there is no shortage of opportunities to develop your skillset.
Your role:
* Electrical design for DC/AC systems, substation layouts, SLDs, cable sizing, and earthing layouts.
* Collaborate with experts across engineering, construction, and sales to bring innovative storage solutions to life.
* Drive technical problem-solving and provide insights to overcome challenges in project delivery.
* Support the creation of detailed plans, layouts, and reports to meet project requirements.
Skills:
* HNC/HND or equivalent minimum; BSc/BEng preferred.
* Knowledge of UK/international electrical standards, electrical design software (e.g., EPLAN, AutoCAD), and BESS industry experience is a plus.
* Clean driving license and ability to work across time zones.
