What You'll Do: Champion Safety: Enforce safe work systems and ensure health and safety performance among subordinates and contractors.
Provide a Safe Environment : Ensure all employees and contractors have safe equipment, a secure working environment, and necessary personal protective equipment.
Educate and Supervise: Make sure employees are well-informed, instructed, trained, and supervised to perform their duties safely.
Commit to Zero Injuries : Maintain a safe environment, investigate incidents, and implement effective countermeasures.
Ensure Compliance : Interpret and apply departmental policies, procedures, laws, and regulations.
Manage Operations: Oversee maintenance schedules, quality initiatives, safety targets, and operational metrics to achieve organizational goals.
Lead Your Team: Supervise staff, including hiring, training, performance evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
Promote Excellence: Drive continuous improvement, efficient resource use, safety, quality, and high performance through policy development and budget control.
What We're Looking For: Educational Background: Bachelors degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field, or equivalent education and experience.
Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with ATEX/DSEAR, SEVESO/COMAH regulations, and relevant health and safety legislation.
Change Management: Experience in managing change within diverse environments and building strong relationships.
Communication Skills : Strong interpersonal communication, influencing, coaching, negotiating, and team coordination skills.
Analytical Abilities : Ability to analyze data, develop proposals, and demonstrate strong business acumen.
Technical Proficiency: Advanced PC skills, financial and commercial awareness, and project management expertise.
Team Player : Commitment to continuous improvement, teamwork, and professional work ethics.
Customer Focus : Dedication to customer satisfaction and a hands-on approach to tasks.
