Precision Assembler

Proactive Global currently is looking for Precision Assemblers to join one of our customers based in Alton.

Hours: 39hrs per week, 07:00am - 17:00 pm Mon - Thurs, although flexibility is often required in order to meet customer deadlines.

�24k- �26k per annum

Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

• General light soldering of wiring and brush assemblies
• Mechanical assembly of components and fixings
• Correct use of tooling for bearing fitting
• Understanding and reading of assembly drawings and specifications
• Adherence to assembly instructions
• Handling and fitting of bearings
• Magnet Handling and use of adhesives
• Drilling and pining of shafts
• Polishing/dressing of armatures
• Motor testing and use of hand held test equipment
• Inspection with use of hand measuring equipment
• Handling and fitting of electronic components and printed circuit board assemblies
• Experience of working within an ISO 9001 and AS9100 manufacturing environment
• Maintain regular consistent and professional attendance, punctuality, personal appearance, and adherence to relevant health & safety procedures
• Pursue personal development of skills and knowledge necessary for the effective performance of the role.
