VANRATH are recruiting a Principal Civil Engineer to oversee exciting projects across NI and the UK Remuneration: £Competitive DOE + Excellent benefits package Client Our client is an award-winning engineering practice based in Magherafelt which undertake a full range of design works for water and wastewater projects, throughout Northern Ireland and UK. We also undertake specialist design of highway bridges, complex temporary works and structural piling throughout the UK. We pride ourselves on providing innovative solutions, in particular the constructability aspects of a project and from this we have secured several projects from repeat Clients The Ideal Person: Producing technical reports Provide assistance to senior management in the preparation of technical and financial proposals Contribute to work winning and preparation of bid documents Manage personal/team budgets and resources to achieve financial targets Keep up to date with industry best practice and where appropriate apply best practice within the team environment Act in the role of Contractor's Responsible Engineer Coordinating and ensuring the production of specification and drawings Undertaking concept design, feasibility studies and preliminary design Attendance at meetings with team, clients, contractors and statutory bodies, including Technical Approvals as required Provide supervision and training to staff Responsibilities: Chartered Civil Engineer Effective communication skills in a client facing role Proven experience of delivering projects to time and budget Proven experience of inspection, assessment and design of various structures 10 years design experience in a range of civil engineering projects Full UK driving licence For further information on this vacancy, or any other Built Environment job in Belfast or wider Northern Ireland, please apply via the link below or contact John Gallagher for a confidential discussion.
