Project Manager TEAM: Research DURATION:Permanent GRADE:Project Manager - £40,995 - £42,614 per annum REPORTS TO:Research Manager WHO WE ARE? We are a unique all island economic development agency with over 25 years experience of supporting thousands of SMEs on the island of Ireland, helping businesses address challenges and take advantage of cross border growth opportunities. The Research Team works within the wider strategy division of the organisation which has responsibility for shaping and delivering work assignments which align InterTradeIrelands strategic goals alongside the enterprise policy priorities of our partner government departments. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR? We are now seeking a Project Manager to join the Research Team. KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: As the Project Manager you will contribute to the development of our strategic research programme, helping to identify and manage suitable third-party providers to progress commissioned research projects. This will entail monitoring and evaluating their performance and outputs ensuring work is delivered within budget and in line with our corporate governance standards. Additionally, you will be required to identify, understand and communicate the implications of research findings and policy development for InterTradeIrelands operational work. THE IDEAL PERSON WILL HAVE: A degree or equivalent third-level qualification. Three years experience of and responsibility for managing all aspects of a project or work programme lifecycle including design, delivery, continuous improvement, monitoring, evaluation,and budgetary control. Experience of implementing, and maintaining effective controls to support accountability requirements within project management Experience in analysing, and interpreting research findings and/or data trends and collating and presenting this as appropriate based on the audience A high level of IT competency, including advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
