We’re looking for a Registered Manager to lead a children’s residential home in a rewarding role where you can make a real difference. You’ll manage a team, ensure high standards of care, and work closely with children, families, and professionals to support their needs. This role is perfect for a Deputy Manager looking to take the next step in their career.

Key Responsibilities:
Care Planning: Create and oversee individual care plans for each child, addressing their emotional, social, and healthcare needs.
Team Development: Hire and manage a strong team, ensuring continuity of care for the children.
Consultation: Involve children in decisions about their care.
Quality Assurance: Monitor and maintain high care standards in line with regulations.
Collaboration: Work with families, professionals, and external stakeholders to support children’s welfare.
Child Protection: Address complaints and concerns, ensuring a safe environment for the children in your care.
Essential Requirements:
At least 2 years' experience in children’s residential care, with 1 year in a supervisory role.
Level 5 Diploma in Leadership and Management for Residential Childcare (or willing to work towards it within 6 months).
Strong understanding of childcare legislation, quality standards, and regulatory requirements.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Experience in managing challenging behaviours and working with children with emotional or social difficulties.
Full UK driving license.
