School Caretaker

A fantastic school in Mansfield are currently looking for a caretaker to start on a permanent or temp to perm basis. You will play a vital role in being responsible for the maintenance and security of the school building. Your job will be to look after the assets in the school, monitor security cameras and maintain cleanliness within the premises and grounds  maintanence.

This is a varied and rewarding role, perfect for someone with a hands-on approach, excellent problem-solving skills, and a strong sense of responsibility. We are looking for a friendly, reliable, and proactive individual who takes pride in their work and is committed to maintaining a high standard of care for the school.

Your responsibilities:

• Clean designated areas including washrooms, offices, and communal spaces
• Reporting construction and maintenance requirements
• Opening and closing of site
• Assist with setting up and taking down equipment for school events.
• Respond to any emergencies or urgent issues that arise during shifts.
• Refill supplies such as toilet paper, soap, and hand towels
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisor
• Follow health and safety guidelines at all times
