Semi-Senior Accountant - Fully Remote/Flexible Working - £30K Plus

Think Trevor James are currently working with a modern, forward-thinking firm that is offering a fully remote role for the right semi-senior accountant, with only quarterly in-person meetings.

Essential Role Requirements

• 2+ years of practice experience.


• Working towards an accounting qualification, AAT, ACA or ACCA.


• Experience with Xero, Xero Payroll, TaxCalc, and Karbon is preferred but not required, as comprehensive training will be provided.


• A solid understanding of accounting principles, up-to-date accounting standards, and relevant tax regulations is essential.

Key Responsibilities of the Senior Accountant

• Assisting in the preparation of draft Statutory Accounts and Corporation Tax returns


• Managing the preparation and submission of VAT returns


• Addressing client questions related to bookkeeping, VAT, and confirmation statements


• Providing support to trainees with bookkeeping-related inquiries


• Ability to establish a warm, approachable relationship with clients, ensuring exceptional customer service


• .Drafting Self-Assessment Tax Returns
